| The West Bank Line of Metrolink's River Subdivision in downtown LA above Union Station was undergoing some maintenance work over this summer weekend. Passenger trains were using the East Bank Line of the River Sub instead, which is generally primarily used as a freight route. Here, Metrolink 268 arrives in LA from Lancaster with a BNSF AC4400 leader as a Metro Gold Line train races it on the right. The West Bank Line and Metro's Los Angeles River Yard are in the foreground. |
