| SD80MAC: For a brief period before their retirement from the roster, the Norfolk Southern SD80MACs returned to mainline service. Behind the leader are NS 9464 (C44-9W) and NS 8009 (ES44AC). The leader was originally CR 4108 (under Conrail) before going to CSX after the split of Conrail (as CSXT 803 and later as CSXT 4593). In 2015, it was traded to Norfolk Southern (as seen here) before being sold to Progress Rail in February of 2020. The train is approaching CP Aldene on Conrail Lehigh Line Track #2. |
