| For celebrating the 100th anniversary of the 2-8-0 T steamlocomotive Ec 4/5 # 11 (built in 1911 by SLM for the Solothurn-Münster-Bahn SMB), a steamtrain circulated on the original line for which the locomotive was built. The very colorful composition of association steam railway Berne (Verein Dampfbahn Bern DBB) is on the 2.8 % grade from Solothurn up to Oberdorf on this snowless beautiful "winter" day. In the rear is shoving electric locomotive Ce 4/6 # 307 built in 1920 by SLM and MFO for the Spiez-Erlenbach-Zweisimmen Bahn (EZB). |
