ALCO Safari Day 3, CVSR: A quick stop in Akron on my way East allowed me to catch the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic coming into the Akron station stop. The rear of this C420 is unmistakable as anything other than ALCO, however this locomotive was recently repowered with a MTU engine. None of the carbody was changed, but the distinctive thump of the ALCO 251 is gone.
From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
