| Dakota Southern No. 213 is a long, long way from New York, where it used to run in commuter service as Long Island Railroad 213. The track that Dakota Southern operated in South Dakota are now being used by WATCO's Ringneck & Western, and No. 213 is in danger of being scrapped. It reportedly has traction motor issues but is otherwise serviceable. |
