This southbound long-range local has a new crew and is about to resume its trek. A few miles south of Fort Scott, at a spot called Edward - population one switch and zero people - the train will enter the Afton Sub and head for the yard at Columbus, KS. Interesting power, with ex-Frisco 2336 (Blt March 1972) leading ex-GN SD9 6122 (Blt May 1958) and BN B30-7A 4055 (Blt October 1983).
