| A Westbound Union Pacific global Z train is seen exiting the snow sheds at Norden and passing under the Southern Pacific searchlight signals. The signals are on borrowed time as their replacements are seen next to the shed ready to be activated. The train was delayed at Truckee in order to add power for the climb over the mountain. I waited quite a while for them and got them by seconds as an Eastbound manifest train was right behind me and almost blocked the shot. |
