ALCO Safari Day 7, Delaware Lackawanna: Jumping ahead to Cresco, we see PO74 having dumped their grain/wheat loads at Mt. Pocono and heading down to Bestway Lumber just around the curve. This is usually as far as PO74 goes, with all the interchange traffic going to Scranton now.
Don Colangelo, retired CMO (and sometimes piano player) at the DL Scranton shops cared for the many ALCOs, MLWs and a few EMDs that passed in and out of South Scranton and Von Storch shop doors.
Here is a look and many of those units.
