Remarks & Notes

A TP&W eastbound passes through Secor, Illinois, named after former line president Charles A. Secor. Charles A. Secor and William Cruger formed the engineering firm Cruger, Secor & Company way back in 1853 and were awarded the contract to layout and build the "Peoria & Oquawka Eastern Extension", which is now the TP&W. Secor served as president of the Peoria & Oquawka in the 1850's.
