| One of the neatest experiences of the Victorian Iron Horse Roundup was the chance to ride (and for some, sleep) in an authentic narrow gauge Pullman car. Denver & Rio Grande 470 was built by Pullman in 1889 and used for decades on the Rio Grande 3-foot gauge. It survived as a carbody, sold for use on a ranch in the early 1950s, until it was restored by the Friends of C&TS. |
