CSX In Wellesley... In 2021?
CSX B723 rolls through Wellesley Square with an empty welded rail train from the MBTA. CSX B723 is usually the Westboro switcher, but today, the crew had to run east to the now-abandoned Beacon Park Yard in Boston to pick up an empty CWR train. Since B721 was abolished in late 2018, CSX has been a rare thing to see east of Framingham, but today was a rare exception to that rule.
