A New Lots Av-bound 3 train is seen rounding the corner at Saratoga Av, where the line curves from E98th St to Livonia Ave. The New Lots Line is similar to the Jamaica Line in that there were unrealized plans to install a middle track, as is obvious from the wide gap between the two extant tracks. Looking closely, the bents supporting the track stringers also have holes where the additional stringers would have been mounted.
