After running hourly trips at the Southern California Railway Museum throughout the day on Sunday, September 19, 2021, Ventura County 2 (aka VC2, née Cascade Timber Company #107, 2-6-2, Baldwin, 1922) is ready to be put back in its barn. This engine will soon be removed from service for FRA mandated life cycle inspection and maintenance. Former New Jersey Transit Comet I rebuild 5732 briefly served on Metrolink before coming to the museum.
