Pittsburg & Shawmut’s Brookville Local departs Colwell, Pennsylvania on its way back to Brookville. After passing the loader, the train enters a deep cut, goes under the highway bridge that I’m standing on, and crosses over the Mahoning Creek, which is as wide as a small river at this point.
