| The first Reading & Northern steam-powered fall foliage special of 2021, on its way from Reading, PA to Jim Thorpe, PA. The sound of the exhaust was as deafening as a jet-plane at takeoff; actually drowning out the whistle as the train approached the crossing. Note the shredded leaves in the wake of the stack blast. |
