Night is falling at Hinton WV. We are cold, wet and tired but extremely happy. It's 1985 and we have been chasing a steam engine pulling a loaded coal train all day long in the snow! 614 has been turned on the turntable and is heading toward the coaling tower to be serviced for tomorrow's westbound return to Huntington WV. We have a 2-1/2 hour drive home ahead of us, but it was all worth the memories!
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
