The power of a southbound Delaware & Hudson train, detoured by the Belden Hill tunnel expansion project has arrived at Lanesboro, Pennsylvania, and has run around its train. A “puller job” has coupled onto the south end of the train and is pulling the train south past Jefferson Junction. In about a half-mile, the road power seen here will clear the switch, the puller job will be uncoupled, and the train will proceed up the Jefferson connection and over Conrail’s Southern Tier line to Binghamton.
