One of the 4 IAIS SD38-2’s on point IAIS 151, IAIS ES44AC 513 (Rock Island Heritage Unit) and IAIS GP38-2 711 wait for a crew on point of the Blue Island - CSX Barr Yard transfer (IAIS BICSX) at Burr Oak Yard on a sunny and oddly warm March morning. About a week or so after this photo was taken, all 4 IAIS SD38-2’s would be sent for storage in Silvis, IL, and are still in storage to this day.
