By the Depot. The AIKR local returns to town from working Active Minerals and Grace, both located on what is left of the Southern's old AB Line that ran between Edgefield and Aiken. The train is about to pull onto the remnants of the Southern's old SA line, which was the South Carolina Railroad Line that ran between Charleston, Branchville, and Hamburg (a former town located near Augusta), and had laid claim to fame as having the Best Friend of Charleston (though it never ran anywhere near Aiken).
