Snow at Coal Creek Canyon
In a spring blizzard on March 29, 2007, BNSF’s Denver to Provo manifest freight climbs the grade through the mouth of Coal Creek Canyon between Clay and Plainview, Colorado, The head end is approaching Tunnel 1, while the rear of the train is passing the detector at mile 22.6.
