The Beer Railroad: Digging through old photos, it seems that in my youth, I spent lots of time at the "Manny", which was owned by the Anheuser-Busch brewery in South St. Louis. MRS was a neat little industrial operation with a rich history. On this summer afternoon, one of their always clean SW1500's pulls empty hoppers from the malt house on the afternoon switch. The brewery was accessed through a section of track on Dorcas Street.
