It’s been raining most of the day on August 27, 2021. The imposing, battleship-gray grain elevator off Lincoln Avenue in Underwood, North Dakota, matches the somber weather as Dakota, Missouri Valley & Western’s “wayfreight” heads north with lead EMD SD50F No. 5408’s bright lights leading the way.
