    Remarks & Notes
Pennsy Class E6s 4-4-2 Atlantic No. 460, built by Juniata in August 1914 and cosmetically restored by the RR Museum of PA. In the July 1939 issue of "Railroad" magazine, Donald M. Steffee reported on this type of locomotive pulling the world's fastest scheduled steam train at the time- the "Chicago Arrow" between Fort Wayne, IN and Englewood, IL- 140.9 miles in 120 minutes, including intermediate stops, for an average speed of 70.5 mph. Frequent running at 85-90 mph was required to keep the schedule.
