A lash up you would think could only happen on a model railroad. D&RGW SD45's 5328, and 5336, sandwich a big Union Pacific DD35 83. They are going under the over pass at 4th South, running down 4th west, passing Pioneer Park. The scene is very different today, no more street running here. All the evidence a railroad once ran here are paved over. A Tony Quilici photo from 1977, from my dad Tom Ellis's collection.
Photographs where trains and people mix, weather it's street running, plant switching or carrying a unit grain train out of an elevator, it will be put here.
From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
