The CC&O was the last Class I railroad built east of the Rocky Mountains.  While hit hard by alternate energy sources, it is still alive and kicking, with a Russell, KY to Waycross, GA manifest exiting Sykes Mill Tunnel in aptly named Clinchco, VA.
