Union Pacific 127041 was classed with the AAR code XM, making it a "plain, unequipped box car." But it isn’t, really, as it is equipped with pair plug doors with a combined width of 14'. And the larger door has openings for grain loading, making this a very versatile car. UP’s class for these cars was BF-70-10, and the UP painted it in their colorful yellow and silver "Automated Rail Way Map" scheme. (Ontario, California – March 27, 1981)
