| Closure of the LIRR's mainline for signal work resulted in Ronkonkoma trains being re-routed over the non-electrified Central Branch, necessitating the use of diesel equipment. Here, a westbound rounds the curve just outside Beth Interlocking, where it will meet an eastbound before making a reverse move down the Central Branch to Babylon and proceed to NYC along the south shore. |
