BN 6600 was BN's class F45, coming from GN. These were among BN's first new units as part of GN's orders arrived post March 2, 1970 merger. Other early big power was GE U33Cs, as seen behind BN 6600 at Mississippi St. in St Paul in March 1973. By this time BN new orders would go for SD40-2s and later GE C30-7s.
