Remarks & Notes

As a storm blows through town loaded train NS 734 (Memphis,TN/BNSF-Juliette,GA) polished the wet rails as it passes Jersey Pike road on the run for Georgia Power Plant Scherer. The BNSF SD70MAC’s are starting to make a resurgence on some of the run though coal trains. It’s nice to see the classic Grinstein Green SD70MAC on the lead again. While we’re talking about the SD70MAC’s and their appearance. The iconic BN Executive Grinstein Green scheme named after the former BN CEO Gerald Grinstein which made its debut in 1993 is about to turn 30 in 2023. Personally, this paint scheme seems to be holding up very nicely over the almost 3 decades.
