Remarks & Notes

An eastbound sails past a pair of UP standard block signals that once were ubiquitous from the Missouri River to the west coast. MNPCB-19 has an assortment of power this spring day, including Cotton Belt GP60M No. 9695, SP SD40T-2 No. 8300, UP SD40-2 No. 3606 and MPI SD40M-2 No. 9041. That SP tunnel motor is reportedly the first one ever built, although its particular utility is somewhat superfluous in Nebraska, yet nice to see.
