The M-1 trundles its way north through the yard after being turned following a run to Colgate Grove. As the 11:00 am trip was returning to the station, a heavy snow squall hit the area, casuing near whiteout conditions. Scenes like this are why the EBT is said to be a place outside time--aside from a few details (the smokestacks being shorter, and the caboose taking the place of Coach 8), this image easily could have been taken in 1952 instead of 2022.
