Framed
The M-1 trundles its way north to Colgate Grove, crossing what is known on the railroad as "The Long Fill." Originally a wooden trestle, the railroad eventually filled it in with furnace slag from the Rockhill iron furnace. This is the view out of the 1889-built Pratt truss Runk Bridge that crosses Aughwick Creek, which makes an excellent period-appropriate frame. |
