| A USSC loaded sugar train is seen with loads of raw cane headed back to the mill in Clewiston. The GP11 locomotive was built as a GP9 for the Illinois Central in January of 1957 as IC 9214. The train is approaching The Miami Canal, which drains Lake Okeechobee all the way down to the coast at Miami, hydrating dozens of sugar fields along the way. |
