"And There Goes The Last DJ..."
On a somewhat warm day in late February 2022, Durango and Silverton 481 heads north along "Cement Wall". As of 2022, this locomotive is the only operable coal burning locomotive on the D&SNG. While locomotives 486 and 478 are still in their 'as built' configurations as well, neither has ran since the oil burning conversions have been sparked here. |
