A Rush Tower coal train is in heavy dynamic as they roll around the horn here between Russell and Melrose on the BNSF Ottumwa Sub. The train is about 15 miles from Halpin and the CTC section around Albia, IA, in southern Iowa. Mother Nature blanketed the area with about 8-10 inches of snow yesterday, and then frosted everything up this morning, making for a beautiful countryside.
