The 4th load of 2022 bound for Rush Tower, MO, rolls thru the town of Chariton in southern Iowa. The train just got done with some heavy lifting up Whitebreast Hill, and now takes a break as they coast thru town at the posted speed of 30 mph. The train is working towards the next crew change point at Burlington, IA, 130 miles east. I was told couple years ago that this old run down elevator would be torn down, guess those days haven't come yet.
