Westbound Brooklyn Yard, OR, Z-train pulls into Clinton for a crew change 2 miles ahead. The train is crossing the Mississippi River from Illinois into Iowa. New crew will travel clear across the state of Iowa to Missouri Valley, IA, for the next crew change overnight. I have been hitting up the Clinton Bridge area as plans are moving forward to replace this drawbridge with a new high level bridge.
