Iconic Gotthard locomotive Ae 6/6 # 11411 "Zug" of SBB Historic, based in Erstfeld, is on a cab ride run from Erstfeld over the Gotthard mountain line to Bodio, passing an old little attendant's hut near Eggwald, between Wassen and G?schenen on the uppermost level of the loops. The 5830 HP locomotive was built in 1956 by SLM, MFO and BBC for the SBB, delivered on september 18th, 1956 in Münchenstein. In totel, 120 of this type were built between 1952 and 1966, but the first 25 only (with the blazons of the 25 cantons of Switzerland) were adorned with the nice chromium decorations.
