| The GLC and CSX cross at a place called Ann Pere on the CSX side just east of Howell. This crossing was once between the Ann Arbor Railroad and the Pere Marquette. The southbound GLC freight heading to Ann Arbor has stopped here to let the conductor off to do work. From the week we were here, clearly alot of traffic is passed between railroads at this interchange point. The SD45 was cool, but needed GLC painted power for this chase. |
