With the Rocky Mountains looming in the distance, BNSF Railway train C-WTMMIC0-09 sits in a siding on the southern side of Denver awaiting a fresh crew. This coal train originated in Wyoming’s West Black Thunder Mine and is bound for Minnequa CO behind ES44ACs 6402 and 6011, with SD70ACe 9176 on the rear. Along with a fresh crew, BNSF SD70ACe 9016 will be added to the point before it departs. (Denver, Colorado – April 4, 2022)
