Ever since lease units invaded the Belt Railway of Chicago, solid sets of Belt power on the South Chicago Job have become a rarity. Today, I was quite pleased to see a pair of BRC SD40s in charge. Making way across the old B&O at Forest Hill Crossing, the train is closing in on Clearing Yard with a hefty pickup from Commercial Avenue. On the NS side of things, an eastbound stack train out of Landers Yard is seen crossing the diamonds.
