| High Speed.
Pullman PCC 3087 is seen crossing Central Ave, one of two grade crossings on the Ashmont-Mattapan High Speed Line in Milton, MA. The line serves as an extension of the Red Line, connecting with rapid transit trains at Ashmont station. These "Wartime" PCCs were built in 1945-1946 and have served in revenue service in Boston since then. |
