On the weekend of May 21-22, 2022, the first anniversary event to celebrate 175 years of railroads in Switzerland took place, with events mainly in Olten and Basel. The anniversary locomotive Re 460 # 019, designed by the Austrian designer Gudrun Geiblinger, was on display at the SBB industrial plant in Olten. This locomotive shows the official first train leaving the newly opened Gotthard Base Tunnel at the north portal near Erstfeld on 1 June 2016. The photo template was mirrored so that the train comes from the left (in reality it was the other way around).
