After shooting Pan Am Railways train EDPL crossing the Connecticut River, which I posted already, I waited for the weekday Connecticut Southern train CSO-4. While locomotives running long hood forward is frowned on by many photographers, I didn’t mind this one as it’s just another unique photo I have of this railroad. The B39-8E and GP38-2 picked up 58 cars from CSX‘s interchange in West Springfield, MA and are returning to Hartford, passing in Windsor on a February afternoon.
