| Bay Street Bypass: Due to a snowstorm on this weekday in March 2017, NJ Transit downgraded service on the Montclair Boonton Line to an "enhanced" weekend/holiday level. This schedule change provided some service on the eastern portion of the line using the Bay Street Shuttle which can be seen in the right of this photo with GP40PH-2 NJT 4101 (formerly CNJ 3672) serving as power for NJT 530 which had just terminated here as NJT 531. West of Bay Street, limited rush-hour directional service was also provided. While the shuttle was changing ends on Track #2, NJT 9225 bound for Montclair State University/Great Notch Yard arrives 35 minutes late due to mechanical issues on Track #1 with NJT 6069 leading. |
