| A scene like it could easily have been photographed a few decades earlier. The heavy three-cylinder freight steam locomotive 44 # 546 of the Bavarian Railroad Museum in N?rdlingen moves from the coal crane to the turntable to go into the roundhouse. It had previously hauled a freight train weighing about 1600 tons loaded with lumber from Wilburgstetten to N?rdlingen (regular freight, but pulled by a steamlocomotive this day). |
