| The former N&W Bristol Line had to thread its way through the narrow gorge of the middle fork of the Holston River while dodging sinkholes, which resulted in a crooked,speed- restricted track. This westbound intermodal is emerging from the worst of it but still has Mcmullan hill ahead. |
