| At one of my favorite spots to watch trains in southwest Minnesota, a southbound BNSF manifest is seen working hard up to the crest of the long climb along the Redwood River from Marshall to Florence. Just past the US 14 overpass I'm standing on, it will start downgrade toward Pipestone, passing through the scenic area known as the Buffalo Ridge. |
