| On a warm morning on the first day of July, Amtrak 14 sails past CP Davis and approaches the movie studio buried deep in the Santa Susana Hills as it approaches its next station stop of Simi Valley. Today's northbound Coast Starlight is running slightly off the advertised after the Metrolink dispatcher elected to hold the train at CP Topanga while a southbound Union Pacific IOALBR, one of the rare hit-or-miss trains that travels the famed Coast Line these days, took the main. |
