| The 0-10-0 freight steam locomotive R # 976 of the Swedish Railway Museum G?vle left Kiruna malmbang?rd about one hour before at midnight with the iron ore train 50976 bound for Vassijaure and is now passing kilometer 1441 between Rautas and Rensj?n at 01 AM in the night. The train, organised by the Swedish Railway Museum in G?vle in cooperation with the LKAB iron ore mining company has 14 ore cars between coupler cars (transition screw coupler to automatic couplers) and a weight of about 1300 ton. The R # 976 steamlocomotive, built in 1909 by Nydqvist och Holm AB (NOHAB) for the ore traffic on this line, performed well and pulled the heavy train with a steady about 30 to 40 km/h. |
